IED injures 3 civilians west of Baghdad

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Three civilians were wounded Wednesday in an improvised explosive device blast in west of Baghdad, according to a security source. “An improvised explosive device, planted by unknown gunmen on the road in Abu Ghraib region, west of Baghdad, went off targeting an Iraqi army vehicle patrol, injuring three passing civilians,” the source told Iraqi News. “Security forces cordoned off the region and rushed the wounded to a nearby hospital for treatment,” he added.
