3 IEDs, missile defused in Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A security force managed to dismantle three Improvised Explosive Devices and a missile in different areas of Tikrit city of Salah il-Din province.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “A security force managed to defuse two IEDs on the high way of Tikrit city without resulting in any human casualties.”

“Another IED was defused near a local market of Tuz Khormatu district of eastern Tikrit,” the source added.

“The force has also defused a missile in Balad district which was located to attack Yathrib village of the same district of northern Tikrit,” the source concluded.
