IP killed, 2 brothers wounded in Shurqat

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi policeman was killed and two of his brothers were wounded when an Improvised Explosive Device exploded to the north of Tikrit city.Security source reported to IraqiNews.com on Saturday “The IED, which was emplaced in a house garden belongs to a police element, exploded on Saturday noon in Khudraniya village within Shurqat district of northern Tikrit city.””The policeman was killed due to the IED explosion while two of his brothers were injured,” the source added.”The ambulances rushed to the explosion spot to transporte the dead body of the policeman to the morgue and the wounded persons to the nearest hospital for treatment,” the source pointed out.”The security forces launched a raid – search campaign in the villages associated to Shurqat distinct to look for the perpetrators of the terrorist operation who escaped after carrying out the attack,” the source concluded.
