Iranian ambassador gravely injured in accident

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: The semi-official Iranian Mehr News Agency reported that the Iranian ambassador to Baghdad was gravely hit with injuries to his face and body in an accident inside the Green Zone, in the center of Baghdad. The agency added that ambassador Hassan Dana‘i Fer had an accident at the inspection point. In addition, the agency reported that Premier Nouri al-Maliki ordered an immediate investigation committee to check the details of the accident, pointing out that his medical situation is stable.  RM (TP)/SR   2696
