Iraq deploy more troops on border with Syria

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: Iraq on Saturday deployed more police forces at the border with Syria, as it dismantled a number of its border points with Iraq after the U.S. air strike on a target within the Syrian territories days a go. “Troops from the quick response force of al-Anbar province moved toward al-Qaem border city (200 miles northwest of Baghdad),” Brigadier Jubeer Rasheed Naif told IraqiNews.com. “This measure was taken to prevent al-Qaeda Organization’s fighters from moving into Iraq from Syria,” he added.
