Iraqi army nabs 35 wanted individuals in Ninewa

NINEWA / IraqiNews.com: Security forces on Tuesday arrested 35 wanted individuals during raid operations conducted in Ninewa, a military spokesman said. “A force from National Police captured 25 wanted individuals in a raid-and-search operation conducted in western districts of Mosul,” Brig. Khalid Abdelsattar, spokesman for Ninewa Operations Command, told IraqiNews.com. “A force from Iraqi army captured three wanted individuals in south-east Mosul while another force captured three in al-Qahira district, north Mosul,” the spokesman noted. Elsewhere in Mosul, Iraqi security forces “arrested three wanted individuals in Eden district, east Mosul, along with another one in al-Rashidiya district, north Mosul, “he pointed out. The spokesman added “the operations were based on intelligence tip-offs.” Mosul has come into the media forefront after a cleansing campaign targeting Christians.
