 Iraqi forces kill 13 ISIS militants, repel attack on southern Biji

Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Monday, Biji Police Command announced, that the Iraqi security forces repelled an attack by ISIS militants and killed 13 elements of the group in southern Biji.

Biji district police chief Col. Saad al-Qaisy stated for IraqiNews, “The security forces, with support from volunteer fighters, have managed to repel a violent attack by the ISIS group militants on the village of al-Mazra’ah in southern Biji (40 km north of Tikrit),” pointing out that, “The clashes between the two sides resulted in killing 13 elements of the ISIS group including some Arab nationals.”
