Iraqiya Hurra MP survives assassination in Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) MP, Zuhair al-Araji, of the Iraqiya Hurra bloc survived assassination in central Mosul on Thursday.

A statement by the bloc received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “Two Improvised Explosive Devices exploded targeting Araji near a checkpoint of the Intelligence elements of the Interior Ministry located close to the branch 14 of the Kurdistani Democratic Party.”

“Araji phoned the media office of the bloc and assured that these desperate political attempts will not prevent him from going on in his performance to serve the citizens of Mosul city,” the statement concluded.
