Iraq’s Parliament suspends session for half an hour in protest to Turkish-Iranian bombardment of Kurdistan

ARBIL / IraqiNews.com: The Iraqi Parliament has suspended its Thursday session for half an hour, due to a demand by the Kurdistan Coalition, in protest to the continuation of the Turkish/Iranian bombardment of Iraqi Kurdistan’s border areas, a Kurdistan Legislature stated.   “The Chairman of the Kurdistan Coalition in the Parliament had presented a memorandum to the Parliament’s Speaker, demanding the suspension of its session for half an hour, in protest to the Turkish/Iranian bombardment of Iraqi Kurdistan, demanding the Iraqi government to take a more severe position, through diplomatic means, to press on both countries to stop the bombardment,” Saman Fawzi told IraqiNews.com news agency.   The Iranian bombardment for Kurdistan Region’s border areas had continued since two months, whilst the Turkish warplanes have attacked the border villages in Qadil Mountains in Kurdistan Region, killing and wounding several citizens and causing damage for dozens of houses, agricultural fields and properties in many border villages.   SKH (IT) 474
