ISIS claims responsibility for Kadhimiya bombing

( BAGHDAD – ISIS on Sunday claimed responsibility for the Kadhimiya suicide bombing in northern Baghdad, which resulted in 21 casualties.

The claim by ISIS was published in its official media wing Amaq.

In a statement released by Amaq news agency, ISIS claimed responsibility for the attack. The suicide bomber wearing a vest targeted security forces in the entrance to Kadhimiya neighbourhood.

Medical sources in Kadhimiya hospital, where the victims of the bombing were taken, said that the death toll could rise as some of the injured are in a serious condition.
