ISIS executed 6 brothers from 2 families in Hawija district

(IraqiNews.com) Kirkuk – A local source in Kirkuk announced on Tuesday, that ISIS executed six brothers from two families were about to flee from Hawija district, noting that the militants raised their bodies on electricity poles.

The source said in an interview for IraqiNews.com: “ISIS  executed six brothers from two families shooting them dead in front of a gathering of people in the center of the village of Al-Hegel,” attributing the cause to “their attempt to flee from the village of Asudaira in Hawija district, (75 km southwest of Kirkuk).”

  1. ISIS uses civilians as human shields and why ISIS tells civilians not to flee or ISIS will kill them. So it does not matter if they stay or flee there is a high probability they will be killed, but if they flee they might have a slightly better chance of getting away and surviving.
