ISIS executes 9 of its own fighters in Mosul

(IraqiNews.com) Dohuk – Kurdish officials announced on Wednesday that the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) has executed nine of its gunmen, after entering them into a house eastern Mosul and bombing them.
Media official of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Mosul, Said Mimousini, said in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “ISIS has executed nine of its gunmen after booby-trapping them inside a house in the district of Hamdania eastern Mosul,” noting that, “the decision of execution came on the background of the escape of these militants from the battle fronts.”
On the other hand, Mimousini stressed that, “17 insurgents have been killed during an air attack today targeted their site in the village of Khorsabad east of Mosul.”
It is noteworthy that the Peshmerga forces were able to cleanse large areas over the past months from the grip of ISIS militants in the areas of Zammar, Rabia and Sinjar.
