ISIS shoots dead top brass Iraqi officer east of Ramadi

( al-Anbar – A security source in Anbar informed on Saturday that an Iraqi high-ranking officer was killed by an ISIS sniper east of Ramadi.

According to information shared by the source, “The commander of the 41st brigade of the Army’s Tenth Division was killed this afternoon by an ISIS sniper in Khalediya island (23 km east of Ramadi),” adding, “The officer was killed after the security forces advanced into Khalediya island, east of Ramadi, with an aim to liberate it.”
