Jordan denies barring Iraqis from visiting kingdom

AMMAN ( – The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates denied reports circulated on some media outlets saying that Jordan banned Iraqi citizens, with Iranian passport entry stamps, from entering the kingdom.

Jordan’s news agency Petra quoted the ministry’s spokesperson Majed Qatarneh as describing such reports as unfounded and baseless.

The spokesman stressed that Jordan imposed no entry ban on our Iraqi brothers when visiting “their second country”.
