8 killed, injured due to Wasit car bombing

Wassit (IraqiNews.com) Eight persons, majority policemen, were either killed or injured due to the car bomb explosion that took place in Wassit province on Sunday morning.

Medical source reported to IraqiNews.com Sunday “The Car bombing that took place in Wassit province resulted in killing two police officers and a policeman while four policemen and a civilian were injured due to the explosion.”

A car bomb exploded in Kerima neighborhood of Kut city on Sunday morning.

The Security forces in Wassit tightened its procedures and closed major roads in anticipation of further explosions.
