Kurdistan RegionG declares implementing 5 points of Zmar agreement

Erbil (IraqiNews.com) The General secretary of Peshmerga Ministry, Jbar Yawer, announced “The implementation of five out of seven basic points concerning the resent disputes with the Iraqi Army in Zammar area.”

The Ministry of Peshmerga quoted Yawer as saying during the visit of the representative of Iraqi-American Coordination Bureau to the Ministry of Peshmerga that ”The Peshmerga Ministry declared implementing five points concerning the recent disputes in Zammar area.”

The representative of the Iraqi-American Coordination Bureau stated that ”The United States of America exerting its efforts to solve the disputes.”

The Peshmerga forces and the Iraqi Army as well as an American delegation hold a meeting on the 4th of August and the meeting resulted in agreeing on seven common points.

The Office of the Commander General of the Armed Forces announced deploying federal forces on the Iraqi-Syrian borders to prevent the Syrian crisis from effecting security situation in Iraq.

The Ministry of Peshmerga denied any armed clashes between Iraqi Army and Peshmerga forces in the disputed areas within Mosul city.
