Hama (IraqiNews.com) – More than 20 Syrian civilians were killed when a landmine exploded in Wadi al-Azib area in Salamyiah countryside, west of Syria, a security source said.

The source, who is a member of Hama Police Command, told the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that more than 20 civilians were killed on Sunday in a blast of a landmine left behind by Islamic State terrorists.

The landmine exploded when a car carrying workers on board ran over it in the area, he explained.

The source added that the bodies were admitted to Salamyiah and Hama hospitals.
