Liberating operations of areas to north of Salahuddin resume

( Salahuddin – The administration of Salahuddin province announced on Tuesday that the joint security forces resumed its operations of liberating areas in north of the province after it was being suspended due to bad weather conditions.

Governor of Salahuddin, Ahmed Abdullah al-Jabouri, in a press statement said, “The joint [security] forces, at dawn today, resumed the liberation operations of the areas towards north of the province.”

Jabouri added, “The [liberation] operations were launched with the participation of different Iraqi forces after besieging ISIS terrorist gangs at Makhoul, al-Sharqat and al-Qayyarah,” further adding, “The operations were launched days ago but it was stopped owing to bad weather conditions in the area.”
