Local official survives attack on his house southern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Municipal council member survived an assassination attempt southern Mosul.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Mohamed Obaid Sultan, member of Hammam al-Aleel Provincial Council, survived an explosion of a grenade that was thrown by gunmen on his house to the south of Mosul, capital of Nineveh province.”

“The gunmen fled after carrying out the attack which caused material damages to the house,” the source added.
