Mayer severely injured eastern Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A Mayor was injured in an armed attack on his house eastern of Mosul, the capital of Nineveh province.

Security source told Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Unidentified gunmen broke into the house of Muthana neighborhood’s mayor, Ammar Mohamed, and opened fire targeting him, that resulted in severely injuring him but he managed to flee.”

“Security force rushed to cordon off the incident place while transported the injured to hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
