military reinforecments, 500 Iraqi soldiers arrive in Speicher
Salahuddin (IraqiNews.com) On Tuesday, a security source in Salahuddin province said that the Iraqi military troops arrived in Speicher base in northern Tikrit to back the army units fighting in Tikrit and Biji territories.
The source informed IraqiNews: “Iraqi military reinforcements and more than 500 soldiers in armored vehicles arrived today in Speicher base to back the army units fighting the ISIS militants in areas of northern Tikrit and Biji city.”
Earlier today, the governor of Salahuddin province, Ibrahim Al-Jabouri said that the Iraqi military troops are only 2 km away from the heart of Biji city.
