MoD announces preemptive operations against ISIL terrorists in Anbar

Anbar (IraqiNews.com) The Ministry of Defense announced preemptive operations against the elements of the Islamic State in Iraq and Levant.

A statement by the MoD received by IraqiNews.com cited “The security forces and Counter-Terrorism units in addition to the air force conducted anticipatory operations against the ISIL elements and resulted in killing many of them and destroying their shelters in Anbar and Fallujah in particular.”
