MoI conducts search operation in Karrada area

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) A security force implemented security operation in Karrada area, seizing several pieces of weapons.

The Ministry of Interior reported in a statement received by IraqiNews.com that ”A joint security force, composed of patrol police, SWAT forces within General Police Department, Police Dogs Department and the 3rd Brigade of the 1st Division/ Federal Police, implemented security operation in Karrada area.”

The statement added that ”The huge security force comprising about 50 police patrols, conducted the a research operation that resulted in confiscating 16 Kalashinikov rifles, 2 pistols, Siminof rifle in Karrada area of central Baghdad.”
