Mortars target army brigade in Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) Mortar shells have fell on Iraqi army brigade to the north of Tikrit, capital of Salah il-Din province.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Saturday “12 Division’s Second Brigade in northern Tikrit was attacked by mortars.”

“The attack did not cause any human or material damages, the source added noting “An army force rushed to the incident place to launch search-raid for the mortars launch place.”
