Murder, kidnap gang arrested in Diala

DIALA / IraqiNews.com: Police forces on Tuesday arrested a murder gang that is believed to be behind several killings and kidnaps in Baaquba city, according to a source from Diala province’s police. “The arrests were made during a raid in al-Miqdadiya suburb, 45 km northeast of Baaquba,” the source told IraqiNews.com news agency. “The gang consists of 16 members,” he said. The source pointed out that the gang’s members are suspected to be elements of al-Qaeda Organization. “A quantity of arms was also seized during the operation,” he added.
