Najaf announces security plan dedicated for Imam Ali martyrdom ceremony

Najaf (IraqiNews.com) The Najaf Police Command announced the security plan dedicated for the Martyrdom Anniversary of Imam Ali (PBUH).The Media Director of Najaf Police Department Captain, Muqdad al-Musawi, reported to IraqiNews.com on Sunday ”The security plan will include the participation of more than (25,000) security elements from the Ministry of Interior and the Ministry of Defense in addition to the intelligence efforts and women police elements .””The security plan will focus on intensive deployment of security elements at the three entrances of the city, from the sides of Babel, Karbala and Diwaniya provinces and to impose three security cordons around the Kufa city and the Holy Shrine of Imam Ali,” he added.”The roads that lead to the Old city and the holy shrine of (Maythem al-Tammar, will be closed, ” noting that ”The security plan will last until the end of rituals of commemorating the Martyrdom ceremony of Imam Ali,” he concluded. \END\
