Nineveh PC demand Government to end Peshmerga breaches

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Member of Nineveh Provincial Council Yahia Abdul Mahjub demanded the Federal Government to intervene to “solve the problem of the security breaches which are caused by the Kurdish Peshmerga forces in Cairo village within Rabea area, since 200 Arab families were displaced from that area.”

Yahia reported to IraqiNews.com on Wednesday that ”The families who live in Cairo village condemn and deplore the violations which they suffer from the Peshmerga forces who are deployed in their area and they demand the Federal Government to end their suffering.”

He added that ”The Cairo village is not one of the diputed areas between the Federal Government and Kurdistan region,” blaming the security forces for the security breaches.

He pointed out that ”About 200 displaced families want to return to their houses as soon as possible since they suffer of many harassments,” noting that “The families of Cairo village demanded Nineveh Provincial Council to end their problem with the Peshmerga forces.” \
