No U.S. soldier killed in Anbar – U.S. spokesperson

BAGHDAD / IraqiNews.com: An official spokesperson for the U.S. forces on Sunday denied that a U.S. soldier was killed by the so-called ‘Jabhat al-Jihad wal Tawheed’. “U.S. forces were not subjected to armed operations in Anbar that resulted in killing a U.S. soldier,” al-Meqdad Jibreel told IraqiNews.com. “No Hammer vehicle was destroyed and no Multi National Force (MNF) bases were bombarded in Baghdad or Mosul,” he added. “What has been said about such incidents is incorrect,” he noted.
