Number of persons injured in IED blast in Basra

BASRA / IraqiNews.com – A number of civilians have been injured in an improvised explosive device (IED) blast close to a railway station in southern Iraq’s Basra city on Sunday, a Railway Director said.   “An IED blew up close to Basra’s Maaqal Railway Station on Sunday, wounding a number of people, who were driven to hospitals for treatment,” one of its directors, Karim Chakhiour, told IraqiNews.com news agency.
