Officer killed while defusing IED in northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) An officer was killed while trying to defuse an Improvised Explosive Device in northern Tikrit on Friday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The IED went off in central Beji district killing the lieutenant, Moahmed Faris Numan, who was trying to defuse it.”

“The security forces sent his body to the morgue,” the source concluded.
