Official at Baghdad Mayorship assassinated western Baghdad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Administrative and Financial Director of the Parks and Landscaping Department associated to Baghdad Mayorship, Taleib Faza’, was assassinated in Adil neighborhood of western Baghdad.

A statement by Baghdad Mayorship cited that “A terrorist group opened fire targeting Faza’, on last Sunday, while he was on his way home, killing him at once.”

“On the other hand, the director general of the Municipal Department, Jamal al-Nuaimi, has survived an assassination attempt while he was heading to his office when terrorists attacked his motorcade in Karkh district of Baghdad,” the statement concluded.
