Official: Iraqi forces to grant civilians’ safety in Nineveh

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) Member of Nineveh Provincial Council, Benyan Thiyab, confirmed the insistence of the Iraqi Forces to grant the safety of the civilians and to avoid them the damage of the military operations.

Thiyab who was born Rabe’a district stated to IraqiNews.com “the leaders and officers of the military operation which was conducted to liberate Rabe’a district of western Mosul from the ISIL were adherent to grant safety of the civilians and their properties.”

“The IA forces are clearing the areas of the district from mines and explosives in order to prepare the district for the return of the displaced families since the city was a battle field,” the source added. /End/
