Kurdish Peshmerga forces start security operation to liberate Mosul

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Commander General of Peshmerga Forces, Brigadier Abdul Rahman Koreni, declared launching security operation to eliminate all the terrorists affiliated with the Islamic State of Iraq and tge Levant.

The website of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan quoted Koreni as saying that ”The security forces equipped by various weapons and we will raid Mosul city and will not stop till eliminating all the terrorists of the city.”

”Koreni denied all the news that were published about controlling Zamar and Kasik areas in Nineveh province by ISIL, ” stressing that “The Peshmerga forces are ready to raid Mosul city,” the statement concluded.
