PKK: Turkish spy aircraft shot down

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The PKK announced its responsibility of shooting down a Turkish spy aircraft, drone, in Adny village of Broary area within Amedy district in Dohuk province.

The Office of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan quoted eyewitness from the residents of the village as saying that ”An explosion reverberated in the village due to the downfall of the spy Turkish aircraft which burst into flames, with white smoke rising from it, and the fire gutted the bush surround the village.”

A source of the Kurdistan Workers Party reported to the PUK website that ”The fallen aircraft was Turkish spy automatic aircraft which can fly without pilot,” noting that ”The fighters of the PKK opened fire using heavy machineguns to hit the drone.” \
