Police officer assassinated in Nineveh province

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A police officer was assassinated in southern Mosul of Nineveh province.

A police source stated to IraqiNews.com on Tuesday that ”Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting the Colonel, Abdul Moneim al-Jobouri, killing him immediately, in Hud village of southern Qayyarah of southern Mosul.”

The source added ”The Colonel was at his vacation,” noting that “The victim assumed the post of the director of police department in Nineveh province.” \
