Policeman , civilian wounded in Shurqat

Salah-il-Din -A policeman and a civilian were wounded due to explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device to the north of Tikrit.A source of Salah-il-Din police directorate reported to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) ”The IED, which was emplaced on the sidewalk of the highway, exploded targeting a policeman vehicle in the Left Coast of Shurqat district of northern Tikrit city.””The explosion of the IED resulted in wounding the policeman, who was driving his vehicle, and a civilian, who was accompanying him, as well as causing material damage to the policeman vehicle,” the source added.”The security forces rushed to the explosion area and transported the wounded persons to Shurqat general hospital for treatment,” the source concluded. \END\
