Policeman killed, civilian injured in northern Tikrit

Salah il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A policeman was killed and a civilian was injured due to an armed attack in Biji district of northern Tikrit.

A security source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “Unidentified gunmen riding a motor cycle opened file, by silenced weapons, targeting a policeman in al-Siniya area of Biji district of northern Tikrit city.”

“The policeman was killed and one of his relatives was injured where the ambulance transferred the dead to the morgue and the injured to the nearby hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
