Policeman killed in Nineveh

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) A policeman was killed due to armed clashes in western Mosul.

Security source mentioned to IraqiNews.com on Saturday that ”An armed group attacked a police patrol and clashed with the patrol elements in Baiji district of western Mosul the capital of Nineveh province,” noting that “The armed clashes resulted in killing a policeman.”

The source added that ”The police transported the dead body to the morgue while the gunmen managed to flee to unknown destination.” \
