Policeman killed, 2 women injured in central Mosul

Nineveh (IraqiNews.com) A policeman was killed and two women were injured in al-Cornish road within a public market in central Mosul on Wednesday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “Unidentified gunmen opened fire targeting a police checkpoint,” noting that “The attack resulted in killing a policeman and injuring a mother with her daughter.”

“The security forces transferred the dead body to the morgue and the two women to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.
