3 Policemen injured in Mosul

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Three policemen were injured due to an explosion of an Improvised Explosive Device IED in eastern Mosul.

Security source reported to IraqiNews.com Sunday that ”The IED, which was emplaced by unidentified gunmen on a roadside in front of Ibn al-Ether Hospital in Mosul city, exploded targeting a police patrol which led to injuring three policemen within the patrol,” noting that “The IED was detonated by a remote control.”

The source added “The security forces transported the injured policemen to the hospital while another force implemented an inspection operation in anticipation for any other IEDs.” \
