2 Policemen injured in Ramadi

Anbar, Ramadi (IraqiNews.com) Two policemen were injured when an Improvised Explosive Device IED exploded in central Ramadi.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com on Thursday that ”The IED, which was emplaced on a roadside, exploded, targeting a police patrol, in Werwar area of central Ramadi city, the capital of Anbar province,” noting that “The explosion resulted in injuring two policemen, one of them suffers very serious condition.”

The source added “The explosion also caused material damage to police vehicle,” stressing that “Police patrols transported the injured policemen to the hospital for treatment.” \
