Precautionary security measures imposed in Karbala

Karbala (IraqiNews.com) Police Forces in Karbala imposed precautionary security measures in the province on the background of the car bombings that took place in some provinces on Sunday morning.

The head of the media office of Karbala Police Department, Colonel Ahmed Mohamed Omran, stated to IraqiNews.com “The imposed measures involved deploying fixed as well as supporting checkpoints.”

Earlier, Kirkuk, Basra, Salah al-Din, Dhi-Qar and Nineveh provinces witnessed car bombings that resulted in killing and injuring dozens of citizens.
