Prime Minister orders detention of military leaders of Saqlawiya catastrophe

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Iraqi Prime Minister and Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces Haidar al-Abadi issued a statement this evening in relation to the Saqlawiya catastrophe.

The statement noted that a detention order was issued against army corps leaders of those who take the blame on al-Saqlawiya catastrophe in north of Fallujah and promised they will be interrogated.

Abadi’s Office affirmed in a statement today, that four days ago, Iraqi PM Abadi gave his orders to send military aid and additional troops to that area in north of Fallujah.

Earlier today, ISIS killed over 300 Iraqi soldiers using chlorine gas for the first time in Saqlawiya.
