Qaeda adopts attack on Anti-Terrorism Department of central Baghdad
Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Qaeda Organization in Iraq adopted that terrorist attack that targeted the Anti-Terrorism Department of central Baghdad of last July 31st.
A website that publishes the statements of the Qaeda Organization mentioned that “A group of the Qaeda Organization raided the building of the Anti-Terrorism Department in Karrada area of central Baghdad and killed 70 officers and policemen,” noting that “The raid was conducted by five suicide bombers preceded by detonating two car bombs near the front and rear gates of the building.”
The building of the Anti-Terrorism Department was subject to a raid conducted by gunmen who killed a number of guards of the building after heavy clashes that lasted for hours on July 31st.
