Diyala (IraqiNews.com) A police force from Diyala Police Department managed to arrest a prominent leader within the Qaeda Organization in Baquba district of Diyala province on Sunday.
A statement by the Ministry of Interior received by Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) cited “The leader is accused of conducting armed activities and distributing agitating leaflets,” noting that “He was handed over to a security office for investigation.”
“The arrest was based on intelligence information,” the statement concluded.
