Qaeda responsible for Monday blasts, says Jihad

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Member of the Security and Defense Parliamentary Committee Hassan Jihad accused the Qaeda Organization of being responsible for the terrorist attacks which took place in Baghdad and other provinces on Monday.

Jihad stated to IraqiNews.com on Monday that ”The Terrorist Qaeda Organization is exploiting the holy month of Ramadan to implement this terrorist operation since the security bodies are not completed in terms of intelligence efforts and other requirements for establishing security,” pointing out that ”Qaeda Organization is still practicing its activities in Iraq.”

He added that ”These attacks have nothing to do with the events in Syria,” stressing that ”The security bodies should be more aware to impose its security control in Iraq.”

Baghdad and other provinces witnessed a series of blasts, caused by IEDs and cars bomb, on Monday which resulted in killing and injuring dozens of citizens and security elements.
