3rd car bomb goes off in Kirkuk

Kirkuk (IraqiNews.com) The third car bomb exploded in central Kirkuk province on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The car bomb was parked in a road in Quds neighborhood of central Kirkuk targeting civilians,” noting that “The explosion resulted in killing and injuring a number of the citizens.”

“The Ambulances hurried to the explosion site, transferring the dead bodies to the morgue and the injured persons to the hospital for treatment,” the source concluded.

Earlier, 2 car bombs went off in Kirkuk killing and injuring a number of citizens in addition to car bombings took place in Basra, Maysan, Dhi-Qar and Nineveh provinces on Sunday.
