Retired Brigadier assassinated in Nineveh

Nineveh, Mosul (IraqiNews.com) Retired Brigadier was assassinated on Qayyarah district (60 km) to the south of Mosul city, the capital of Nineveh province.

Security source of Nineveh provice mentioned to IraqiNews.com that “Unidentified gunmen opened fire, targeting the Brigadier Ali Attalla Mallouh, killing him immediately,” noting that “the victim was the Commander of Military Brigade of Qayyarah district and the Director of its Police Department as well as he was the Director of Nineveh Anti-Terrorism Directorate.”

The source continued saying that “The son of the assassinated Brigadier, who is 13 years old, was injured while he was with his father on their personal vehicle at the incident time.”
