Roadside bomb defused in northern Tikrit

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A force from the Explosive Ordinance Disposal Department defused a roadside bomb emplaced near a checkpoint in Tikrit on Sunday.

Security source stated to IraqiNews.com “The bomb was emplaced near a checkpoint in al-Imam village,” noting that “The process of dismantling the bomb was done without casualties.”
