Robbery attempt foiled in Kirkuk

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The security forces in Kirkuk city in cooperation with the Anti-Crime police managed to retrieve electricity devices and electricity equipments belong to Debis electricity directorate.The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan Website quoted the Director of the Media department of the security forces, Farhad Huma, as saying in statement received by IraqiNews.com ”Several persons cut off the road for a truck, that was transporting electricity equipments, on Baghdad-Kirkuk highway,” noting that “The electricity equipments belong to Debis electricity directorate.””While the bandits were changing the track of the truck the Asayish forces in cooperation with the Anti-Crime forces managed retrieve the electricity devices and arrested the thieves,” the statement added.”The detainees are well known by the Asayish forces and the Asayish forces that delivered their file to the Anti-Crime police department of Kirkuk city and transported the electricity equipments to Debis electricity directorate,” the statement concluded.
